Baby #2

Melody never felt as bad as she did after Alecia's birth. The house was a total mess, Melody got no sleep, the shower broke and the garden got neglected. Alecia screamed when Melody was eating, sleeping, gardening. Alecia wasn't an easy baby.

Melody decided to hire a baby-sitter for some hours, just to be able to have some alone time. She had to sell the TV for it, but that doesn't matter, she never had any time for watching TV anyway. But the baby-sitter wasn't exactly as Melody thought. Alecia screamed, she was hungry, but what did the baby-sitter do? Nothing. Melody couldn't take that, the baby-sitter got scolded out of the house!

But Melody still needed her alone time, she called another baby-sitter and prayed that this time it would actually come a competent baby-sitter instead of a complete bitch. And it did! Cullen was his name and he was such a sweet guy. He really took care of Alecia and Melody felt safe with leaving her precious baby with him.

After a long, hot shower Melody said good-bye to Alecia and went outside to go for a walk. When she walked across the street she noticed that a new family had just moved in a couple of houses further down the street. Lets go greet him, she thought. It turns out it was a single dad and his son who just moved here, and Melody suddenly remembered her 100 baby challenge. Maybe this guy wants to help her? He invited her in on a cup of coffee and they had lots of fun. He was really funny and Melody very much enjoyed talking to a grown up.

When they started talking about Melody's 100 baby challenge and she said that she will be needing help from many guys, he offered to help her! She didn't even have to ask him! They didn't waste any time, and afterwards he told her about his deceased wife. They met and fell in love, they both wanted many children but sadly she died when she gave birth to their son. Melody felt so sorry for him.

The next day was Alecia's birthday. Sadly Michel couldn't come, he had to work. But Melody didn't mind, she liked it being only the two of them.

And what a pretty girl she became. Looked just like her mother, with the gold like hair and the green eyes. She loved to play on the xylophone and she was actually pretty talented. The day after Alecia's birthday Melody got her confirmation, the morning sickness! This pregnancy was even worse than the first one. Melody was feeling nauseous all the time.

But eventually the nausea yielded. Melody started to feel better than ever before! She actually got some sleep now when Alecia was a toddler, and the house got cleaned, the garden looked great, Melody even had time to play with and teach Alecia different things like talking and walking.

But one day, in the middle of cleaning, Melody once again felt it. It was time for baby number two to be born! Melody wished for a little baby boy. When she arrived at the hospital there was no sign of the father. This time Melody was all on her own.

This labor took much longer time than Melody's first, but no wonder, there were two babies! Two little boys. She named them Ewan and Harvey. Twins means double happiness, eh? Melody's life will be tough now, with two babies and a toddler!

97 to go!

  6. Meh, its not easy when you try to speak a different language! I could never go crazy because something like that! I think those translators are really funny sometimes, especially when you see t-shirts from Asia where they used google translate to translate some text on the t-shirt and its completely wrong... Hahaha! :D
